As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, Thorburn provides a much needed monthly nutrition package to the Tirelong School in the greater Rustenburg area. For the past 3 years we have been ensuring that the matric students in particular, are well-nourished in preparation for their final exams and always receive such a warm welcome from the staff and pupils at the dorm.

We are all concerned about the spread of the Coronavirus which has affected many countries.
Tsebo Solutions Group have been tracking the outbreak from the start and have planned our responses in advance. We are well prepared to support our people, our clients and our communities in addressing this challenge, and some of the measures we are taking are.
As always we remain vigilant and responsive to the situation and the needs of our people as the situation develops.
We encourage everyone to remain calm, and take heed of the recommended personal hygiene measures that support the containment of any such outbreak.
REMUNERATION AND COMPENSATION
As the Tsebo Family, we face the COVID-19 pandemic together.
We are deeply concerned with our staff wellbeing, and since the start of the pandemic we have worked closely with our clients, the authorities, and related parties to uphold their rights and maintain their livelihoods as much as possible. Tsebo executives and management have taken voluntary pay cuts to fund an internal support fund for the benefit of affected colleagues.
Tsebo is compliant with all labour legislation. This is a pillar of our value system and culture. Tsebo will never withhold any remuneration due to qualifying employees including TERS payments. All monies due to staff will always be paid in full. According to TERS regulations, payments cannot exceed the average salary. If there is an excess or the client pays the staff salary, then TERS must be refunded to UIF.
Tsebo is not aware of any employee that has not been paid accurately according to the terms of the TERS funds and their hours worked, and we are working extremely hard to ensure that TERS payments are applied correctly.
If anyone does not understand their remuneration or feels that they have been incorrectly remunerated, we want to know. Please use the numerous communications channels which have been and remain available if you have queries – these include approaching your divisional line management, contacting HR, our website, WhatsApp, SMS contact lines or send an email to: payqueries@tsebo.com
All queries will be investigated thoroughly, and if there is a discrepancy, we will rectify it immediately.

Induction training taking place at the roll-out of another new contract start-up in Gauteng during lockdown. Thorburn continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing our valued clients with uninterrupted service delivery during this challenging time.
shout-out to our Operational teams and security personnel out in the field on Workers Day, for doing a fine Job at shopping malls by keeping check on the wearing of masks by the public and not granting access when they did not comply.
Another customer being protected during the Covid-19 pandemic. Thorburn Security Officers diligently following protocol during lockdown. All truck drivers entering and leaving our client premises in KZN, are being sanitised.
Day 8 of lockdown: Shift change parade at Defy in KZN where our security team observe Covid-19 preventative measures. We encourage our personnel to follow the same precautions when not on duty, to ensure the spread of the virus is halted.
